My computer is on a Netgear wireless card, and my Xbox is hardwired to my Router. They are both online at the same time, but yet my computer cant find my Xbox... wtf? does my computer have to be hardwired too? because i tried it out on a different computer where they were both connected to the router, and it worked.

I have that same problem, my xbox is on a wireless connection so whenever I want to play XBC I have to bring it in this room to play. Ive never really tried to figure out how to make it work wirelessly though.

Try looking here http://www.xbchelp.com/, and asking for help on the forums. Also when you find your xbox it will ask if your on a wireless connection.

Don't play xbc with a wireless connection, it is possible but hosting would make the offhost player lag horribly and your ping offhost would be 200+ easy. It's not worth it.

I know this sounds like a stupid answer but did you try finding your console when you are at the system link screen?
