No my connections is alot higher than 56k. I am on a network with a t1 connection. However the network has it set to act like a dsl/cable connection. The service is called RESNET. I am on a college server and i pay 70.00 per semester for this POS! connection.

I think it's because other students in your college is sharing the connection. That's normally how college internet is, a big t1 line shared by hundreds.

Yeah that would make sense. My connection only handles about 3 other comps before stuff gets laggy. So for 100 or more it must really suck.

The pro;s of xbc, is that you choose what you want to play, rather then going matchmaking.

is that true about what they say..put some music on window media player n it helps it...that what i heard when i was on xbc....is it true or is just BS..though i think its dumb..and i never tried it..ne one heard of it or tried it

no its not always like that but it can be at times.
just join good ping games and it should be fine...but you may have to end up joining bad pinged games because not much ppl play xbc any more for halo ce

xbox connect is way laggier and way harder to find people to play with than xbox live.

for those of u out there thinking xbox connect is like xbox live for free you're completely wrong. instead, get a free months subscription for xbox live or use the fifty dollars your great aunt sally gave you for your birthday to buy an xbox live account.
