when i go to join alot of friends games i get timedout and i can join them.... how can this be changed and how does this happen anyway?

Several reasons this happens. First, the host may or locked or taken down the game as you were trying to join it. Secondly, if the host has FW for a ping, he most likely does not have their router setup correctly. If this is happening to all the rooms you are trying to join, it may be a good idea to take a look at your firewall or router.

There is nothing that you can really do to change it. Sometimes it will allow you to go in and sometimes it won't. If you are very eager to join the person's party, ask someone else on your friends list to send you an invite and then send an invite to the friend that was not able to join your party.

i have no idea what FW means but i can tell u that XBC is gay like that and thay dont let u join sertin games becouse maybe the host is stating the game or some tims the host is to lagy and u get timed out it also helps if u sign out of AIM or What ever ur IM service is and close all ur web brousers and it migth help but als the host myt have put the ping filter on and that means that u cant join if ur ping is to high or also if the host but a filter that only lets u join if u have a sertin xbox type like PAL OR NYST OR some thing like that
