I have ethernet connection in my dorm room and was wondering if it was possible to play XBC in my dorm even though i dont have a router at hand?
Any help would be appreciated and if it isnt possible that oh well.

huh, I don't know, seriuosly, I don't you may be able to, may not, if u have the cords it is worth a try, but if u have to go out and buy them, ask some1 who knows for sure.

I don't think so. Try it out anyway though. What you can do is buy an external ethernet card, stick that in your PCI slot on your laptop, and then bridge the connections. I only have one ethernet port in my dorm for my xbox and my computer so that's what I do.

Well you're computer and your Xbox have to be on the same network. Other than a hub i dont really see how you can do that.

My friend couldnt connect to xbc at his school. But one day he had his system link up...and someone on the campus lan joined his game! Pretty soon there were games all over the place. And the best is since its all on campus the lag is almost non existant!

I'm going to be a senor next year and I'll probably be checking out colleges pretty soon. I don't really care about my future so I just want to hook up with a college that will have the most halo games up on the massive LAN that colleges have. So, I was thinking sinse Ohio, New Jers and New York are teh leetest states maybe a college there?

Anyone have a good college that has lots of games up, like, 24/7?
