many problems can be man.... ok first of all sorry to everyone .... i was very sick in bed, because of that i didn't check even my email.... yeah man i have played with you .... i'm Sunny in game.... i think the only sunny... (never seen another during games... lol...anyway).... that problem can be caused because many reason.... one can be your firewall is blocking xbc to access internet.... (windows firewall or router firewall), or two your program crashes.... give me your router information.... to explain how to check that stuff, and tell me if you are using windows xp service pack 2 or not.....

I hope we can play togheter again sometime....

ok man.... here is a page with general information.... this is an example of how to port forward a linksys wireless router.... but like i said i need a few more especific information in order to help you.... your especific router model.... and the wireless adapter atached to your xbox especific brand and name.... how is atached to your xbox, ethernet cord? crossover cord?.... and the aproximate distance between rooms, walls, etc.... please answer that and i will help you.... oh and sorry about delaying on answering, i was very sick in bed.... i'm back.... see ya man....

any question just tell me.... i just search for a random wireless router.... but if you tell me your especific info... if i have used it i will tell you how i setup the router, and if not i will search for info between my friends, and inside the internet.... but i will find the problem you can be sure of that....

yeah i have one.... maybe man, in the part when you put the name of of your game, you left halo 2 in that section, and didn't put halo CE on that section... or your xbox game versions are different one of each other, i mean by example, halo 2 NTSC version and halo CE PAL version, and maybe switch between the two games makes the program miss what game you are playing....

Make sure you have proper configurated those options....

make sure there are created game lobbies when you are trying to join one game..... and make sure too that the created lobbiees aren't closed.... or with password or something like that...

Ok i play xbox live a lot on halo 2 but when my friend told me anout XBC and halo i downloaded it and my xbox is hooked right to my wireless router which is connected directly to my motem and thats hooked to my cable wire, so all in all my xbox is connected directly to the internet but my computer upstais is hooked to the internet wirelessly so i sit in system link screen but it cant locate my xbox, my friend says this should work because all you have to do is be hooked the same way with xbl, what should i do to get XBC working?

ok, man first of all.... do you have proper downloaded xbc?... from www.xboxconnect.com ???.... second man.... in xbc and xlink the things works a little different from live, because those works under a pc protocole... not like xbl that works under the xbox..... there are a few things you need to check in your computer, i mean the computer where the xbox is plugged in.... in your case man, you need to check your wireless router firewall.... to check that you need to do that in the pc where the wireless router is connected (the most close to your xbox is that computer....the better performance).... how to check your router firewall?.... that's the problem man, the procedure is completely different between each device.... to help you i need you to tell me what is the brand from your wireless router.... oh and what windows are you using (i mean service pack 2 or not)... maybe your antivirus is blocking xbc to access internet.... the reason xbc can't find your xbox is because xbc can't find a open port to access.... internet works based in ports.... there are about 265000 ports in each computer.... usually windows uses the first 1064 ports for itself.... and for security reason closes the rest of them to avoid hacking problems.... it left open only a few ports... the most common thing is that all the open ports are used and busy with your programs, and there is not a single port left to xbc use... of course there is a way to open a port to xbc.... but i really need you to give me a little more information....

I've played on both xlink and xbc...there are pros and cons to both..

PROS= many people online, good people aswell...always a game to join

CONS=to many host whoreing f.gs... and [//*$&$& I LICK BALLS &$&$*\\] fags with longs ass names...why?, why the f..k is it necessary?, they also think if you have xbox live your a noob, but what that really means is they can't afford to pay, and proabably live in a cardboard box, using a black and white kenetic energy television, hooked up to a bike which they have their moms pedal for hours while playing halo...pedal faster mom...FASTER! (usually the same people who need a constant host to win.)

PROS= if you wanna give a try at host, it's yours...if you're new to halo 1online, you should go to xlink, people are easier, nicer.

CONS=less people, it may take sometime to get a game going, unfortunately you may have to play off an italian host...lol..if you like a challenge then your best bet is XBC.

So, don't be so offensive just because you've meet the wrong person.... oh and you're right about one thing.... a while ago i could'nt afford live, but right now i'm a lot better on financial situation, but the reason i've no xbox live is because i haven't a credit card.... and i'm all alone, no monetary parents support, nothing just me and my sister against our problems.... that's the f..kin' reason i've not xbox live....

Besides i decide to join xbox live community when halo 3 arrives and when i have xbox 360.... sure i will have it.... not this year, maybe not the next, but i will have it.....

DOn't be such a asshole with the people who don't have the same opportunities like you.... i take my chances , but are not the same like you or everyone else.... the game was created for fun, don't mistake or forget that......

Jus because one guy or two or v en three call you a noob because you play live, when you are on xbc, doesn't mean all the people is that way... i always meet people nice and not, in both programs.... it's on our nature, some people is nice, some not.....

Actually I'm right...I'm VERY RIGHT, I've been on live just as long as XBC, and kai, you on the other hand just got LIVE, so from your stand point it's one sided, and you only have experience with XBC, don't tell me I'm wrong when I'm more knowledgeable than you... I also hate when people comment on something they are completely oblivious to....this game is fun, where did I say it wasn't? I gave pros and cons to BOTH programs, so you should STFU before spewing out verbal vomit....sounds cool?
