XLink Kai [help/setup]

Step by Step:

Download
Note: To extract .zip files, I recommend you use WinRAR, available here: WinRAR

Unzip

` With the above steps complete, you can now open and start XLink Kai. Once XLink Kai Engine has opened, just enter your login (sign up) information and click . You should now be in what is called 'Messanger Mode.' This is also were your friends list is located. You can add/remove people from this area, or if you just want to chat, chat.

` You will then want to enter what is called 'Arena Mode.' Click this . You are now in Arena Mode. This is were you select the system that you are trying to play. As you can see on your left, these are all of the systems supported by XLink Kai. It's best advised that you get a group of friends and make a time to play.

Step by Step:

XBox

First Person Shooter

Halo/Halo 2

` You should now just pick the region that corresponds to your location. I'll use 'Halo NTSC - North America' as my example. This is were you can randomly join hosted games, also known as a 'Sub-Arena.' Just have your host up and wait for others, or join other games hosted already. If you want to only allow your friends to join, you can click and make a 'Private Arena.' You can password protect it to ensure only your select can join.

That's it! Now you're ready to play. If any of the above is foggy in any way, just post in this thread and I will certainly clear up the confusion. This is also a help thread. Now stop reading this tutorial and go wreck people.

Yeah dude, it is a lot more populated for other games. You have to remember, Halo CE is pretty old... You should get a group of kids that are willing to play with you, setp-up a time, and play. If anyone wants to, I will game in about 30 minutes. XBC or XLink, it doesn't matter.

That's fine with me. You're going to have to host unless we get STL to play with us. Crafty doesn't seem to be able to join Balles or my host. So this is just the way it's going to have to be.

EDIT: I don't have work tomorrow. Finally after 8 days straight. I am willing to pull a late night. I'm sure I will get Balles and Kasino to play if some people drop later on.

If you need help hosting, then I will help you when we get to that point. At about 7:00 pm EST I will jump on and play.

STL said he is down at that time, too.
