The best ping i can get is 60 unless they are in my state. other than that i have to play like 70-80. is there something worng with my comp? like spyware or maybe i have to many processes running? i close aim and disconnect chat. the only thing i usally have running is my timer so idk...please help. i'm getting really frustrated when ppl beat me on their host and they think they are good...f..k

60 is a very good solid ping. :\ Your computer has nothing to do with your ping unless your running programs. It's all about your connection/where you live.

The best I ever got was 38. What I usually do is log off on my computer. It shuts down all programs running. Then log on, close any startup programs, then play. Otherwise, look for a program called prcview. It shows you what running and what shouldn't be running. Then you can shut those down. It helps alot.

LoL, bro, I played all day yesterday with ping somewhere between 100 and 120. Don't worry about people beating you when you are playing of host, because they are supposed to win, if they don't rape you by 30, then they are bad kids. Like yesterday, I played off host with a ping of 105ish, and i wend 37 and 21. Do you know had bad that makes the host? We need to play sometime so get on today.

60 is a good solid ping? Maybe for Halo 2 but I like to play with my ping under 20. SOmetimes I resort to 40 or 60 but it's not as fun and If Un3Ek is hosting ill play his 110 ping California host.

60 is low and good. Im talking about H1 here. Of course 20 is going to be a good ping. :\ 60-70 is average.

Well as I live in England we have REALLY sh.tty internet speeds, so im stuck playing on 100-120 ping like everygame.

Yesterday, after Dr. Pwnage OWNED me and my friend in a 2v2, I joined a game from Texas and had a 37 ping. I didn't think it was possible, but it must have been, because I didn't lag at all! Maybe he chose the wrong state though

My average ping is also 60. 60 is fine, and when I see a 30 below ping game, I usually do really good because its easier. Basically, what I am trying to get at is, practice on whatever ping you can, and when you get the chance to play low ping games / noobs, you should win all the time.
