Better than what? I assume that since you said you don't wanna play XBL anymore, you are playing H2. Well, H2 XBC has a more LAN like feel on a server of the same bandwidth.

The lag on Xbox Connect totally depends on your connection. If you get a little bit of lag on Xbox Live - then you will get a good amount of lag. If your connection is perfect on Xbox Live- then I would assume it would work fine for Xbox Connect. But anyways, Xbox Connect does lag more than Xbox Live does. I have a sh.tty connection but Xbox Connect seems to work fine most of the time.

Not really... XBC is more about the ping of the player rather than the quality of the host. A 20 ping game on XBC would be so much better than a 20 ping game on XBL because XBC uses the LAN code, while XBL uses some other code made just for online play, so bullet lag is much better. There is rarely movement lag in H2 anyway, so it's not a big deal.
