Just got a new 42" LCD TV for my room, and I'm not quite sure how to fulfill its HD goodness.
I have a simple Coax cable running to my TV normally.
Any way I can get HD picture without having an HD box?
Basically just HD cable.

My parents neglect me and put HD boxes in the living room / their room / etc,
but leave me out of the picture. They even have it in the f.cking kitchen.

You could pick up a HD Antennae. I got a standard one in my room for my TV and it still picks up some HD stations.

A HD one should do alot better.

So why would you buy a 42" HDTV for your room when you can't get HD programming on it? I guess if you played your 360 on it that would be one reason.

Seemed like a good idea at the time.
I'm on vacation, and have nothing really to do at night.
My friends and I usually just watch some movies, and we have this old sh.tty tube TV.
I'm gonna bring it home once I come back too, so I'll have a nice new addition to my room.

Well I hate to break it to you but a sh.tty old tube TV looks better than a brand new HDTV if the source is standard def.
