I can't right now, you'll have to PM me or wait until tomorrow night when I can use the computer instead of my sisters laptop.

If you could find Super.fi 5's for under $100 they'd be the best choice. Otherwise:

Currently have some Sony V600's for music/editing, and I love the clarity, decent amount of bass as well. I got them for $40 on ebay so I'm happy. Now I'm looking at upgrading.

1. $125 is max, wouldn't mind buying used.
2. 50% editing / 30% gaming / 20% music
- I really care more about the music quality of the headphones since much of my editing involves music as well.
3. Hip-Hop/Techno/Dance - Bass stuff
- I thought the V600's didn't have enough bass, but a little more would be awesome. I care most about the clarity in the different low frequencies and mid frequencies.
4. Bass clarity (good range, not just boomy bass)
5. Definitely want over the ear like the V600. I love the isolation!

Are there amps that they make just for headphones or that I won't have to dish a lot of money out for one?

Thanks!

i need a second opinion.

1. Budget - <$50ish
2. Uses percentage (e.g 80% music, 20% gaming) - mostly audio/video
3. Music taste - nu rock
4. Preferred sound signature (optional, but would help) - probably sennheiser
5. Open or closed style - uh. either.

Erm, less than $50 is pretty difficult. Maybe some used Grado SR60's?

There are tonnes of headphone amps. None under $100 worth buying though.

Look at Equation Audio RP21 on eBay for $100ish. They have the best bass in the price range. If you could find Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro's, get those - they should be about $120-150 used.

Sennheiser E series are really bad.

Like I've said before, Sennheiser have literally hundreds of models, and only about 8 are worth buying.

Koss KSC75s are the best sounding under $50, but they're clip-ons. Maybe iGrado's? They're not traditional style either though.
