No, not that much or I wouldn't recommend them so much. It overpowers the midrange a little bit but not so much that you'd notice.

1. $100-150
2. Uses percentage (e.g 60% music, 15% gaming, 25% phone headset) -- So, a mic is required.
3. Electronic Music
4. Preferred sound signature -- ??
5. Closed

Requesting for a friend. He wants to have a good headset to be used for music, some gaming, yet also as a headset for a phone. Thanks in advance.

<3 Wowee.

EDIT: Btw, I'm trying to get him NOT to buy bose crap. Everyone I know thinks they are the best, and I just laugh. He said he's going to buy this bose set if I can't come up with something else.

1. Max $150
2. 100% music
3. 50% Metal, 50% Techno/Trance, nothing else
4. Not sure what you mean
5. Canal?

You suggested the JVC Marshmellows to me Scott a long time ago, and have been using them for months, and they haven't disappointed. I just want some new canalphones that can pump out a lot of bass. I have been doing some personal searching, and have been looking at the Shure 110/210s, some Ultimate Ear ones, and Superfi ones. Help me guiz.

Bump and update. Lets increase my budget to $250, since I have stumbled upon some extra dough. I have been doing some hours of research, and have narrowed it down to either the UE Super.fi's 5 Pro, Shure 420 (probably can find these for much lower than retail price), or Westone UM2. Helpz.
