Hook me up Scott. I'm looking for a new pair of headphones.
I have up to 300$, but I'd rather not spend a lot, so around 200$ is good.
100% music.
Hardcore sh.t, screamo, rock, but I like a lot of bass.
Over-ear headphones. I want them to look good too.

Definitely check out Denon D2000. They might be a bit over your budget (they are usually $220-240) but they are by far the best closed headphones in the price range with very good bass.

See above, if you can stretch the extra few dollars. If not, the only other closed headphones worth considering are Denon D1000 and Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro.

What does the term "40mm" or "50mm" have anything to do as far as a headphone goes?
Is 50mm better than 40mm?

Well, there aren't many good closed headphones under $200 apart from the Denon D1000. They're not much good for gaming and have quite a bit of bass though.

How much bass are we talking? So much that it'll drown the music out?
