| | I personally use Debian w/ KDE dual booted with Windows XP on my 2004 (I think) notebook. Never personally used Linux/UNIX for that matter until two years ago when my friend (a grey-hat hacker) told me Linux/UNIX handles the system resources more efficiently than windows if configured correctly. He installed it for me and I instantly noticed a noticeable increase in performance. Hope he didn't install anything I didn't want . As with other distros I tried Ubuntu, Gentoo, and SUSE. By far I love Debian the best.Quote:
