Let me put it this way, White Sox fans hate Cubs and Cubs fans more than they love their own team and it's true. All they talked about after winning against the Wild Card Astros may I remind you and the lowest watched World Series on over 20 years is how the Sox one and not the Cubs. If the Cubs win the world series no one will give a sh.t about the Sox and focus ore in on our team. When people say "Well we won the world series in 05'" Well congrats but this is 08', I can sit here and say "Well we won it in 1908'" and it will have the same purpose(THE PAST), When the Cubs win it all, it will be the biggest thing ever in sports, even if they don't have a dramatic story like the 04' Red Sox. Please don't try to argue Cubs/Sox with me cause I will destroy you... Cubs fans can do that cause were true to our team whether were 107-55 or 55-107 we always sell out and are always on their side.

I agree with you though about the world series. I would LOVE to see it end up like that too. Thus far in the season I know the cubs and rays have proved they're good. Still lots of baseball left though.
