that wasn't Romo's first year. That was his second season starting as QB. I admit he has choked but it wasn't as big as Farve's. Romo's reciever was completely covered and he had nobody else to throw to and time was pretty much out. You think with Favre being on the cover and retiring it might end the curse somehow?

They won't do terrible, but it won't be as good of a season I don't think.

Romo had to through it into double coverage because he was running out of time. The Cowboys didn't have much of a chance to win that game. The Giants earned every bit of every one of their playoff game wins. Including the Super Bowl.

well the cowboys lost due to their many penalties in the game. pretty much they played stupid and not like the cowboys i had watched earlier in the season. Hopefully they egt it right this season.

first off, i thought the curse was always an off the field thing of some sort? that, or an injury.

all the respect goes to favre though, i felt honored to be able to watch him play while he did. i dont think that he couldve played another season though, way too much going on around him and his team, it was time i think for the pack to give other teams in their division a shot. rodgers is no favre, but id love to see him become a franchise qb.

The curse was that every person that got on the cover over the last ten years or so either A. Got hurt or B. Played below standard to being on the cover of such a highly popular game.

And I agree with your post. It was great to watch him play as long as he did. I hope that Rodgers can become the next face of the franchise, and in a good way.

well yea but for example, if they've put a guy on their cover that just retired A) He's not gonna have a horrible season cause he's not playing and B) he's not going to get injured cause he's not playing unless he's fixing his roof and falls off. possibly. other than that you don't think it could end the Madden curse because it's been stopped for a year?
