haha. The only thing that has more contact is football, but this is nonstop action.

I've played box lacrosse for about 5 or 6 years now. I have enjoyed it a lot. I have never played field lacrosse though, doesn't really appeal to me, I guess. My set up is, MIL (Mohawk International Lacrosse) Head, with STX shaft. Set me back bought, $170. For people who have not tried the sport, it is very fun and fast paced.

you know whats funny, is that I was talking to some football players today and I said, "why dont you football players play lax?" and they're like

"dont wanna get hurt." and "ya'll run too much".....

yes it is true in lacrosse the hits hurt 10x more...You barely have padding and when you do get hit you usually are getting blindsided. And about Duke i am hopefully going there.

In lacrosse there is defiantly more running than football and you get hit just as hard or even harder. Think someones body or someones body with a metal pole?

and for cups i usually don't wear one for the sake of it hurting like hell when u run...and since you are running non stop it is good to be able to run comfortably

If you think it is stupid watch or play in one game you will never be saying stupid lacrosse again

and we play on a football field not turf (HS is pooooooooooooor)

glad to see the thread is a hit now if we could get non laX players to look and start playing

I just think its funny that people will play the rough sport of FOOTBALL but are too afraid to play lax...

i mean i play football starting guard at my HS and i have never really felt a hit that really hurt in football. Just because the sh.t load of padding...and most football players that do play are defense. Most of them can't take the fast pace and the running

First of all, even if he isnt, why must you doubt him right away? Why dont you ask him questions about it? Second of all, he NEVER said he was getting recruited to go there, he just said he is hopefully going there. You contributed absolutely nothing to this thread, which is about lacrosse, not worrying about what other people are doing with their lives. Prestige I hope you get into Duke for lacrosse.

Now back on subject

I play box lacrosse in the winter and field in the spring. They are basically two completely different games, and they have different rules. They are both extremely fun though.
