So hard to call. This has fight of the year written all over it. Could go either way. If anyone has the ability to dethrone The Spider, it's Hendo.

Call it!

I think it will go all five rounds with Silva winning by split decision.

Wow. Both fighters are saying one of them is down and out before the 2nd.

This is a really hard fight to call, but I'm going to go with Henderson. I think his wrestling and training with Team Quest will pay off, and he will be able to break Anderson's TD defense. As for stand up, we all know Hendo will stand with anyone for the full 5 rounds (the Rampage fight), but I think Anderson is superior in his combinations. Hendo has never been KO'd though, so it's hard to tell if Anderson will be able to win via strikes. I doubt the clinch will be a problem for Hendo in this fight, most of his training has been how to break it with Muay Thai fighters taller than Silva. He is a good wrestler, so he has good counters and hip movement for knees.

Match-up wise, these guys are complete opposites. Anderson is the Muay Thai, BJJ artist while Hendo is a GR wrestler crosstraining in boxing. Like you said, it has the potential to be the fight of the year, which is saying something with the future cards.

I think it'll be an amazing fight. I'm going to go with The Spyder. Since he is training with Big Nog, who beat Hendo twice, I think Anderson Silva will know what to look for, and will set up a well placed combination after Hendo shoots. If Hendo gets that TD, Anderson is also capable of getting an armbar, that is, if Hendo makes the same mistake he did against Big Nog twice.

Actually Hendo has a win over Big Nog. It was a King of Kings Tourney. Hendo beat Gilbert Yvel, someone esle who I can't think of, and Big Nog in 1 night. Big Nog went on to avenge the loss in Pride.

This fight is huge for the simple fact that there really is no one at 185 that can really challenge either of these guys. Hendo has yet to be ko'ed in a fight and Silva has been on a huge tear. I gave Silva really no chance against Marquardt, but I was way wrong on that. But I hate to say it, Hendo will win probably by dec.

I just don't think Silva will K.O. Hendo. Same goes with Hendo, I don't think he'll K.O. Silva. So in all fairness since I believe both Silva and Hendo are really good I said it'll go all five rounds and I think Silva will win 2-1.

If it goes to a decision I don't see Silva taking it. If it goes all 5 rounds, that probably means that Anderson spent a lot of time on his back. Even if he's going for sub's the judges never seem to award points for that, so likely Hendo will pull out a decision.

If it ends anytime before that, I think Silva will win. Hendo may never have been KO'd, but I think he could be TKO'd.

Hendo's armbar losses are split between Big Nog and Little Nog. He beat Big Nog once as McGert mentioned.

PS. The other guy Hendo beat in the tourney was Babalu

You're right, I knew he lost to a Nogueira, but I didn't know it was his brother. The first match with Big Nog was split decision as well, so it was a close fight.

I know one fighter is going to win with a TKO/KO, but I'm not sure of which one. It's a really tough fight to call.

Please start adding that, I just can't stand when people post predictions as if they are foreseeing the future and it WILL occur that way. I think silva will win handily.
