| | I see so many threads being made about CFB. Just post everything here. I will keep this thread updated once a week with the news of the week. ![]() My Conference Championship picks SEC- Georgia B10- Michigan P10- USC Big East- WVU ACC- Clemson B12- OU National Championship Game- Georgia- USC Georgia by 3 Top 15 1. LSU News of The Week: CAYCE, S.C. -- South Carolina receiver Dion Lecorn was arrested at an apartment complex and charged with marijuana possession. The 19-year-old freshman was released on his own recognizance after spending the night in jail. A police report says the player from Ocala, Fla., and two other men told police they had been smoking marijuana Sunday night in a car at the complex, about 10 miles from the university. An officer on patrol smelled the marijuana when she came over to the car to tell the men to turn down the music. Police said they found a burnt marijuana cigarette in the ashtray during a search and Lecorn indicated it was his. It was not immediately clear if Lecorn had a lawyer. Telephone and e-mail messages left for Lecorn were not immediately returned. Lecorn and a second player in the car, freshman receiver Matt Clements, have been suspended from the team, according to a statement from coach Steve Spurrier. Lecorn had 27 catches for 315 yards and three touchdowns last season, and Clements played in two games. More: KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee punter Britton Colquitt has been suspended for the Vols' first five games of the 2008 season following his weekend arrest on charges of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident. Colquitt, 22, also was stripped of his scholarship, Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer said in a statement Sunday. In his four seasons at Tennessee, punter Britton Colquitt has been suspended twice for alcohol-related offenses. According to the Knox County Judicial Commissioner's Office, Colquitt hit a parked car early Sunday morning and then fled the scene. According to police reports, when officers stopped Colquitt, he admitted to drinking and driving as well as to hitting the car and a tree stump. Police said Colquitt smelled strongly of alcohol, his speech was slurred and he was staggering. The accident caused more than $400 in damage. "I'm very disappointed that Britton doesn't appreciate the blessings he has been given from his family and his team," Fulmer said in the statement. "He will be required to undergo alcohol counseling as well as other internal punishments." Colquitt posted bond and has a hearing scheduled for March 5. Attempts to reach him on Sunday through the university were unsuccessful, The Tennessean of Nashville said. Colquitt, who decided to return to Tennessee for his senior year and not to enter the NFL draft, was suspended from the team as a freshman in 2004 when he faced multiple alcohol-related charges stemming from several incidents. He was reinstated later in the year after he pleaded no contest to a charge of underage alcohol consumption. A judge sentenced him to nearly a year of probation and Colquitt was required to complete a youth alcohol program, pay court costs and stay out of trouble to keep his record clean. He also pleaded guilty to two more underage consumption charges. A fourth charge of underage consumption and one for driving under the influence were dismissed. Colquitt, younger brother of All-America punter Dustin Colquitt, is the fourth member of his family to punt at Tennessee. Information from The Associated Press was used in this report. If Michigan doesn't get Terrelle Pryor, it's going to be a 6 win year for them. If we lose to USC, it will not derail our team.

Not only did we run the spread the majority of the game, but we ran it with one of the least mobile quarterbacks in the country. Results? Florida got demolished. I don't think Pryor is coming to Michigan. I'm not expecting him to. I'm also not expecting Michigan to win the Big-10. But we pulled off a hell of a recruiting job, given the coaching change.
