Exactly why he still has a chance to be the starter for Green Bay when they open up. Either they release him, or they let him play.

Anyone think Farve might be headed there, if Garcia's injury is serious?

Nah Pat Yanskis is a terrible writer, Smith was already going home for the afternoon practice. His daughter was having a birthday party.

But he did indeed f..k Ken Lucas up.

But it is all good now, they kissed and made up.

So, here is my question.

If the Packers could trade Brett to either the Bears or Vikings for a high draft pick, why wouldn't they do it?

I mean, they want to prepare for the future, and how can you prepare any better than getting some good draft picks, even if it means giving a good weapon to an opposing team.

He would only play for 1, maybe 2 years, which should be the Packers' rebuilding years.

Eh?

The Bears and Vikings play in the same division as the Packers.

Which means they would be playing Brett Favre twice in this season, that would create pandemonium with the Packers fan base. Bears and Packers have bitter rivalry.

Not to mention the fact that Brett would tear the Packers apart, Charles Woodson is old, and Harris is declining. Plus he knows their entire play book, strategy and what not.

So trading to a division rival is out of the question, and not the best move.

My guess is the Packers think they can win now.

The Vikings have no stellar QB, and the Bears sure as hell don't. So the NFC North is a cake walk right now for the Packers, why make it difficult by giving your opponent a weapon in Brett Favre.

The Packers organization is known for being complete idiots, take in example right now with Favre and Ryan Grant. Then signing that LB that no one knows about to an extension.
