Deangelo Hall traded to the Oakland Raiders for their 2nd round pick.

Oakland is going to be in salary cap hell in a couple of few years...

The Carolina Panthers have added D.J. Hackett to a 2-year, 3.5 million deal. I betcha' Steve Smith is happy.

The New York Jets have signed Bubba Franks to a one-year deal.

Panthers agreed to terms with WR D.J. Hackett on a two-year, $3.5 million contract, according to Scout.com's Adam Caplan.

While Hackett has dealt with injuries, he's been highly productive when healthy and is only 26. In Carolina, he becomes the top candidate to start opposite Steve Smith with Muhsin Muhammad likely working from the slot. Dwayne Jarrett will compete with Ryne Robinson to be the fourth receiver. Hackett has vertical and red-zone ability and should draw some attention away from Smith. His addition is good news for all Panthers skill players besides Jarrett. Expect solid WR3/4 numbers if Hackett starts.

So we have a solid receiving core with guys WHO CAN ACTUALLY CATCH THE BALL........Good luck to the Broncos and Raiders getting Colbert and Carter.

We have Moose, Smith, Hackett, Jarrett, Travis Taylor???, Robinson.

I kinda feel bad for DJ because it now seems like hes never going to get ot play........he needs to get a better work ethic and stop with the flatulenten driving.

If you get Jarret to be a better player that would be one of the best Receiving cores in the NFL.
