| | For anyone who plays golf, I'm getting a new driver. Right now I have a Cobra X Speed Driver. It's a 2006 model. I was thinking about getting a new driver. I was thinking of getting the TaylorMade SuperQuad. I was wondering if there can be any other drivers besides the SuperQuad for accuracy and distance? ![]() My old driver. ![]() Super Quad | |||||

| | That thing looks like a beast! Your old driver is much better than my current driver. I wouldn't spend more money on a driver, but that's just me. The new one looks incredibly sexy though. Take a look at this though: http://shop.callawaygolf.com/Drivers/FT-i_Driver.html If you are having issues shooting straight and accurate, this might be the driver for you.

| | I have the SuperQuad right now and I used an older TaylorMade r7 model for 3 years before making the switch. I hit it very high even with the weights set for a lower ball flight and not quite as far as my older driver, but I hit it MUCH straighter. I went with a 75 gram stiff shaft, which is 12 grams heavier than the stock x-stiff shaft that was in my old driver, and that is of course why the ball does not travel as far. I'll gladly give up a few yards for the fairway though. My only complaint as a scratch golfer is that it is so well designed and has such a huge head that it always wants to go straight, which makes it hard to work the ball especially from left to right. The head is very solid and highly recommended by me. | |||||

| | If you have the money, there is no way to go except Taylormade, theres a reason they're the most played drivers on the tour. They are exceptional clubs, and how good of a golfer are you? Because if you like Cobra clubs you should chuck out the Cobra TP model that Camillo Villegas hits, its really nice too. | |||||

| | kinda gross man, although cobras are a good make club, titleist is the way to go. i have 770 irons, and a T driver, and some other sh.t, but iv had titleist most of my 6 year career and they have been damn good to me. golf is all about the feel. try using different drivers out and see which one you prefer, can hit longest and most importantly, hit straightest.
