The jets were a mighty strong team to being with. So he gets caught, fined big bucks, lots of sanctions and what not. But guess what, there were 15 more games throughout the season. Did he lose any of them. Just because he got caught doesn't mean other coaches didn't do the same thing. Stealing signs is as much a part of baseball as it is football.

In all actuality, name another coach who deserves it, how about Cam Cameron?

You're all ignorant if you really believe just because he went 16-0, he deserves it regardless of his one game he got caught cheating in, and only he knows what others.

Cheating is cheating. Bottom line.

But you see the problem with your thinking right? He paid his debt to society with that huge fine and all those wonderful sanctions. That cleaned his slate. So it's irrelevant that he got caught cheating. He moved on positively and lead his team to a perfect season.

Every team cheats in some ways. I remember the day after the Patriots got caught cheating, Mike Ditka and Jimmy Johnson both said that they were taught how to do this while coaching, and both did it when they coached.

He went 16-0, broke the scoring record and was the best coach in the league. It actually would have been a shame if he didn't win the award.

give me a better coach that deserves it? joe gibs- only reason people say this is because of sean taylor big deal he also made the worse decision in nfl history. wade phillips- team went 13-3 ending the season losing 21-6 with all their starters. romeo whatever- team didnt even make the playoffs so no way. packers head coach- ya this team made a huge turn around from last year but they lost the biggest game of the season to a terrible bears team handing over the number 1 seed.

bill paid his due with a 500,000 dollar fine and the pats also got a 500,000 and they lost their number one draft pick ( even tho they still have the 7th pick)

I hate Bill Belichick, I hate Tom Brady. and I hate the entire Patriots organization. However, I think he deserved Coach of the Year, not giving Coach of the Year to a Coach who led his team to a perfect season? You just can't do that.

I hate how stacked New England is and I hate Tom Brady because of his personal life but i'm not taking away that they're a damn good team and that the coach deserved the award.
