I'd be fine with seeing him stay in Minnesota. But, even with Johan I don't see us being competative in the AL with teams like Boston, Detroit, and the Angels, who are all improving their already pretty good teams.

With that said, I would much rather see him get traded.

I believe if we get rid of Santana, we will need a few years to even get into the picture of a winning team or season. We just got rid of Hunter, and there have been talks of Nathan, if we get rid of Santana that would give us a plate full of new young players. I would like to see us get some offense in our roster, but getting rid of one or close to one of the best pitchers in the MLB I'm just not sure. 3 or 4 to 1 isn't a bad trade at all, but if we keep trading away all of our star players, it will be a while for us to get back into things.
