The NBA Regular season kicks off tomorrow with a doubleheader on TNT. Starting at 8:00 p.m. EST. with The San Antonio Spurs hosting the Portland Trailblazers followed by Kobe and the Lakers hosting T-mac and the Houston Rockets.

Let the discussion begin.

It sucks that Oden had to have surgery, I think Portland is a great young team and has lots of potential, it would've been a faster process if Oden could have played this season. I wouldn't be surprised seeing them be title contenders in 4 or 5 years.

The only teams I will be paying a lot of attention to is, of course, the LA Lakers, Phoenix Suns, and the Boston Celtics. I am paying attention to LA because they are my team. They might have a chance to make the playoffs, but that's if Kobe is around and he actually puts his heart into the game he loves. Boston is obviously the favorite to make the NBA Finals in the East, but in the West, it is more challenging to predict who will make it along with Boston. If I were to guess, I would choose the Phoenix Suns. I think they will finally make the Finals this season and, in the end, win the NBA championship. I know the Celtics have Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce, but I just think the Suns are a better team overall.

I am a KG fan, he was the only reason i liked the Timberwolves, but i dont feel like jumpin on the Celtics band wagon, so ill just stay with the Bobcats and the Hornets, even though they have a long way to go before they get good.

What a way to start the season, the Lakers and Rockets game was intense. Kobe had 40+ pts I believe and the Lakers still lost,sucks. Closer game then it should of been and good effort for the Lakers to try to make a comeback.
