If they would have better players though their inconsistency wouldn't hurt them as much.
Lakers have the best bench in the league. Their bench players end up scoring more points then the starters do in a lot of their games. Just imagine if they had a solid center, they would be awesome. Plus the Lakers have Lamar Odom and i think hes one of the most underrated players in the league. Hes a very versatile player. I can see the Lakers getting back up to one of the top teams in the western conference, once their younger players develop some more or if they pick up some good players from a trade.

You don't need to be as big as Dwight Howard to be on the level he is at right now. You just have to have basketball smarts.

To comment on Odom, I do like Lamar Odom very much, but he isn't scoring as much as he could. From the games that I have seen, Odom scores around 10-15 points per game. Now, it's not a HUGE problem since the Lakers are doing fine, but I think it would benefit the team more if Odom can put more points on the board. Statistically, everything else is good.

Raps beat the Mavs tonight without TJ. TJ was taken off the court last night in a stretcher and is still in the hospital with a pretty bad looking injury.

Big win tonight...this one was for you TJ!!

It's not like the backup PG (Calderon) is a true backup, though. Ford+Calderon is the best PG combo in the league.

Also, another large-margin win for the Raps.

That's true we played like sh.t last night, 21 turnovers I mean c'mon guys you have to be kidding me. Also Ginobili played terrible last night and suprisingly Matt Bonner went nuts 25 points 17 rebounds in place of Duncan, pretty good. For those of you who want Spurs inside information Pop said he will most likely miss tomorrow's game as well and probably play at home on Saturday. I agree with Lamar Odom though if he stepped up and put more shots up it would take some pressure of Kobe but Andrew Bynum as unconsistent as he is has really suprised me. He has the Kareem sky hook down but I agree he doesn't have that "true-center" body.

It's nice to see a successful string of posts without me in every other post lol. Anyways like I said Dwight's build is what makes up a good part of his game, I mean c'mon look at him, he's a manchild. And it helps all players to have some muscle, particularly centers though. It can get rough down around the rim and being strong and being able to post up with strength is no doubt a big advantage. So if Bynum wants to dominate, he's gonna have to hit the weight room. And as for Odom, he is slightly underrated but he isn't consistent and he does not live up to his potential, he's a 6 foot 10 guy that can play the 1,2,3, or 4 but he doesn't use that versatility to his advantage, and I find that really disappointing.

And yeah the Warriors have been hot as of late even with a win over a Duncan-less Spurs team, but the Lakers did beat them on Sunday though. And as for the Raps this was a nice win for them, a nice win for TJ it's good to see his alright, that was a scary fall last night, you don't wanna see guys go down like that.

Peja Stoackivich has been pretty much invisible since he left the Kings, one of the worse trades ever.

I'm pretty sure he is battling bad knees or something but he was never a big time player, he was a pure shooter not a dunk in your face guy. I'll watch some games and sh.t tonight and post some recap stuff tomorrow till then pz.
