Hum humm..

Here we are, in front of the Sens, the Penguins, the Devils and everybody else. Ahh, what a great game. Once again, Price played a very solid game, Andrei scored a pretty bad ass goal (as usual?) and even though he didn't score, Sergei Kostitsyn (my favorite player after Kovy, if not my favorite) played a heck of a game. The kid is really intense and has some mad skills. Yayy!

UGH, Devils need to get out of this scoring slump! I mean one goal in the last like 3 games? Pathetic. Parise, Elias, Gionta, and Langenbrunner better step it up because they can't start this kind of streak this close to the end of the season.

That's the main difference between my Habs and your Devils. Montreal has 2 really strong first lines, lines who can score like mofos, and a third line who can contribute as well in the offensive zone. Plus we have Streit and Markov. The only reason why you guys are on top is because of Marty. =O

You're right, Marty is having another one of his beastly years. It's always been that way with the Devils, they have one line that scores (IE: Elias, Sykora, Arnott in 2000, or the Elias, Gomez, Gionta line from a few years ago). They've always been a defensive minded team, and I don't think thats gonna change in the near future. Sutter tried to change up there style from playing the trap into a more aggresive forechecking unit. It worked for a little bit, but not so much lately. I hope they get back on track, they have Toronto on Tuesday so that's a good place to start.

In NJ, are the Devils known to be a boring team to watch or to play against? I'm asking because from all around the NHL, pretty much every team says that playing against NJ is as boring as sitting on a bench, in a park, during an entire afternoon.. which is extremely boring. I'm not going to lie, even if MTL played a great game saturday night, watching the Devils playing wasn't the most exciting thing I've done in my life. Agree?

(Note: I'm not saying you guys have a bad team, I'm just saying that NJ isn't a really interesting team to watch. =P)

Yeah, I know there not. I thought they were very exciting in the first round of the 06' playoff's when they swept the rangers. I was amazed they played that well. Still, now matter how boring they are I will always love them

On a side note, Anderson just got a 53 save shut-out against the Islanders
