As for my Habs.. Damn. No more Souray We now have Roman Hamrlik, but will it be enough to replace the big 44 ? I doubt about it. At least Hamrlik is a really good defenseman and knows how to play smart, unlike Souray who doesn't really know how to play his position ahah But damnit, the guy has such a blast (I've been wearing the number 44 since the 03-04 season, where I showed the world how powerful was his slapshot )

Flyers will be "better" but not sick. They have a chance at making the 7 or 8 seed in the playoffs. The only reason people think they are going to be better is because of Biron and Briere.

First, Biron is only good when he has a decent defense in front of him, and we all know the Flyers defense was absolutely horrid last year. It really hasn't changed in the offseason. Secondly, Briere we only a beast because he put up 95 points, most of which were assists to players who could actually score. Philly doesn't have anyone like that. Mark my words, Flyers will be better, but not amazing.

P.S. - I actually think the Habs will come out of the Eastern Conference in the top 4 this year. Although they lost Souray, most of the other teams in the East lost talent. I think they are going to be better because of the change in all the other teams, if that makes sense.

Actually, I was more referring to my own team, Buffalo.
It's sad that we lost Briere and Drury, but we'll be back in the playoff. I have no doubts about that!

I know I loved Drury great player but hey most of that team is made up of unknown players or at least people I've never heard of witch is sick so Buffalo will probably do really well again this year.

I have high hopes for the L.A Kings this year because 1. I live in L.A. gotta love em and 2. I just don't want to see them again how they played last year and hopefully they will make Playoffs this time, even though thats like 1 in a Million...

Ok ok, maybe the word "sick" was innappropriate.. But they improved their team a lot. Seriously, do you realise how crazy Brière and Gagné are going to be this year ? Last year, Gagné scored something like 40 goals (I think..), and he was injured for a few games. Add to the that the fact that he was playing with.. ahem.. Knuble ?

But forget that they now have Hartnell, Lupul and Timonen (Timonen can be brutal if he wants to..). I honestly think that, if Biron can do the job, they will be really good this year.

Now you're just showing off using your accents. And Philly might have the offense, but they're defense is lacking from what I've seen. A goalie is not going to do everything for them, you could have the worst goalie on your team, but a great defense and you would do better then crap defense and best goalie. So I have to agree with what Bishop said. Except for the part where he said the Sabres will be good.

I admit it, their defense has to real BIG name except Timonen. But you have to remember that the Flyers has always been a rough team with huge players.. indeed, if you look at their rooster (seriously, do it, it's funny), the average of their defenseman's height is 6'2''/6'3'' and they're averaging 220lbs per player, weight wise. LOL Actually, they do have a few big names, such as HAtcher and Rathje and Jason Smith, but most of em' are getting old (Jason Smith still knows what he's doing). Anyway, I still think that with a good offense, a good goalie and an all right defense, you can go pretty far. Now we'll have to wait to see how "all right" their defense is...
