They played absolutely sh.tty last night, and I can think of two reasons why that might have happened.

A: Jet Lag, with a starting game way later than they are used to.
B: Too much fun on the beach, not enough work on the ice.

I have a feeling Lindy Ruff went apesh.t on them after the game though, so I wouldn't be surprised if they come out and go nuts with the offense right in the first period. Miller might not actually be playing tonight or tomorrow, but I hope it's tomorrow against San Jose. Anyway, the battle begins!

wtf is happening to montreal ?! every god damn year, it's always the same thing. Amazing start, 4th place in the east for a few weeks (behind the sens, duh), and then... pshhhhhiewwwww... W, L, W, L, L, L, W, L, L, L, L, L... OH and thank you Huet for being injured lol. *sigh*

On a side note, I don't know if you watched the entire game Bish', but your sabres completly demolished the sharks yesterday LOL

Montreal needs more from Kovalev and Koivu if they're going to make noise. Koivu looks like he has lost his confidence and Kovalev is just as big of a mystery as ever. I swear, if he wanted it half as bad as Koivu he would be the perfect player.

Price is still too young to be a starting goaltender and Huet back in net will calm the team down a bit. Carolina just has that building on lock down like Montreal does in Carolina. I have season tickets to the Hurricanes games and it's sad to see Carolina get beaten over and over by Montreal on home ice and then beat them on the road.

Yeah, they are just the same type of mystery as the Habs are. Basically, we got raped by the Kings 8-2, then next game came back and won 7-1. I really don't understand what is going on with them. It's like they can play if they feel like playing, but sometimes they really don't feel like it so they all just quit and give up. It's so depressing!

They lost a lot of leadership with the departure of Drury and Briere and usually teams that are highly inconsistant are teams that have the skill to really dominate teams but don't have the leadership to bring that type of game every time they go out.

This "captain of the month", stuff really needs to go. They need to pick a captain and stick with him. Jochen Hecht would be a nice choice. A player they can look towards for leadership and a player that never quits.

Dairy, I would recommand you to Move to either St-Louis, Columbus or Boston, if you want some more challenge, I don't know. Living in Detroit has to be pretty boring, hockey wise ahah. I mean, there's no challenge, you guys are f..king beastly/dominating (or you can move to Montréal, that could be pretty cool).

Bah, Devils ended their 9-game winning streak against the Rangers. We haven't beat them all year but it will change, I guarantee it. Brodeur is looking like the Vezina Trophy winner I know and is making his way back to the top. Definitely doesn't get the respect he deserves... My prediction is that we take the Atlantic Division, after a very slow start. Go Devils!
