| | Blackhawks have had a promising start, coming back in all their wins, while knocking off the Red Wings twice. I'll savor this before they start dropping.

| | My St. Louis Blues right now sit at a well deserved 3-1 with 6 points only behind the Red Wings for the lead in the Central. With only five games played I'm very happy with the performances by not only the young talent of Brad Boyes, Lee Stempniak and David Backes ,but Manny Legace has been phenominal allowing only 2 goals in 2 home games for the Notes, unfortunately those 2 goals comming off Blues players. Brad Boyes leads the Blues in goals with four already; no Stastny but it's a good start. Where as Paul Kariya leads in points overall with 6 assists and still looking for his first goal as a Bluenote. Dan Himote also tallied 2 goals in his first game on the season returning to the team after being a healthy scratch the first two games of the season. Many Legace looks strong with a 2-1 record and a 1.99 GAA. The chemistry is looking good thus far and the Penalty Killing unit looks strong. Powerplay could use some help but defense wins games. Our next game will be against the Chicago Blackhawks. Should be fun one to watch as this rivalry hooks up for the first time this season. Both teams on long rest. Blues haven't played since Friday so I really don't know what to expect from both teams as Chicago looks to be battling the injury bug early in the season as are the Blues. Most importantly, we got our Fan Base back in St.Louis which we have been struggling to do ever since the Lockout. Go Blues! 3-1. I could go one for days talking about Hockey but figured I'd keep it short and talk about my boys.

| | Hey Everyone! That game was one of the best games I've ever been at! Such a good game overall. The first two periods were horrible for the Sabres. Although, I really think they had far more opportunities, Toronto was just hammering away on the few they actually got. BTW, Raycrofts save in the first period was sick. I forgot who it was but completely remembered that from the first period. Second period was more boring, although Toronto nailed another one on Thibault. I really think it came down to defensive breakdowns on Buffalo's part. One of the benefits of sitting behind the net in the 300 level is that you see plays develop and where they fall apart. With two Leafs fans on either side of me the whole game, one of which was my friend, I was fairly upset going into the third since my Sabres haven't really performed thus far. But, as the tradition goes in Buffalo, when it rains, it pours! Two goals in the third within a minute of each other, then another goal by Toronto about another minute later, then another Buffalo goal 2 minutes later, again followed by a Toronto goal, and finally Buffalo to finish off the regulation scoring. Overtime was totally insane! I honestly thought Toronto dominate Buffalo the first 2:30 of the OT period, but when Vanek got tripped up, I knew the game was over. Thanks to a helping hand by McCabe, Buffalo won with 3.7 seconds remaining. Damn I wanted to see a shootout! Let's Go Buffalo Blow LEAFS Blow, not Go Leafs Go. - Remember that one! | |||||

Anyway, I'm really pissed with the Rangers! ARE THEY f..kING RETARDED TO PUT DRURY, who they are paying 37 million to over 5 years, ON THE THIRD f..kING LINE! I have literally lost all respect for the Rangers, and they are just a bunch of no talent ass clowns who like throwing money at players who they think are good but don't end up performing because they are getting paid so much! That looks like a nice 2-3 record. Maybe they should try developing unity and chemistry rather than spending big bucks on good players who don't play well! | |||||

And I guess Shootout goals don't count for goals in our League? Thats gay cause I had 2 guys score in a Shootout last night.

| | They shouldn't count anyway, because in the real system, whoever wins the shootout simply gets an additional goal to the final tally. Therefore, who's to judge which goal for which player actually counted in the shootout! | |||||
