This is the Official Skiing~Snowbarding Thread of H3F.

I just felt as if I needed to create something that has had a connection to me and meant so much as well over the years.

I myself have been skiing for 5-6 years now, and have loved it ever since I first set foot (or feet rather) on a pair of skis my father gave me.

I have been also wanting to becoming a film maker for at least 4 years now, and what better way to combine two things I live than turn it into a lifelong passion/career.

From looking through many montages and short films on this site (no, not ClipsWTF.com sh.t), and from what I've observed, there are many talented people on this site that I see great film making and editing potential in.

So, to wrap this up for now. If you are a proud skier/snowboarder (PANT L3SS is one I've noticed ) then I would like people to show it. Post your history in the sport, post your gear, post some short ski films you thought were interesting, or even post your best experiences with the sport.

Good ole' snow, brings back the season cheers, again and again....every year....and is the most awesome thing ever.

I've been skiing since I was 3. I'm almost 17 now. I did 3 years of racing, then moved into 3 years of freestyle. I now just go along with friends, and hit up the terrain park.

I'm not to big off a fan of jumps and crap, but I'll do any difficult terrain you can find.

I've skied on Whistler, Blackcomb, and Lake Loiuse to name a few, and this past spring I went out West and trekked to the peak of a mountain, which took about 1 1/2 hrs, then skied down this awesome, MASSIVE, bowl of pure powder. One of the most exciting, self-fulfilling moments of my skiing career for sure.

Yeah, freestyle and free skiing are much better in my book. Like, I enjoy watching events on T.V. and such, and watching races....but the pure adventure fell of free skiing is what makes it all worth while.

Well thanks for the message Avapro because i would have never found this thread. I have been skiing since i was 6 years old and i would not trade it for anything. The only thing i wish was different for me is it would be awesome to live in northern california, colorado, or vermont or something. But any ways i dont have a videocamera so i dont have any film of me skiing but i do have a digital camera that i cant find. the pic in my avatar is at Lake Tahoes Heavenly ski resort.

Yo, Mich. Where do you go snowboard. I know you live relatively close to Buffalo. Generally I'm down at Holiday Valley hitting up the snowboarding. You'd probably wreck me in a race though because snowboarders are no where fast enough to keep up with people on skis.

cool thread. ive been snowboarding and sking for about 12 years now. i dam good and there aint a run on mt i will not do. i can also hold my own in the park aint a jump i will not try or do same with rails.

the only problem is all the good parks and run are in america and the best snow as well so i only get to spend about 4 weeks of the year snowboarding. it the best fun ever when u come down a run and look back at it, i love that feeling.

mitch i call those things ski blades i treid it once and was pretty fun
