2nd one looks good and i beleive the first one is a guy trying to kiss a girl with a ciggarette in her hand?

Nothing stands out very much in either, try to make the background darker, or the subject lighter.
Also, play around with some smudge settings or something, I don't see much in terms of effects.

I like the 1st one actually, more than the 2nd one. I love them.
