If god hates gay people then why did he make gay people in the first place?

I have always wondered that question, there can be many answers for it. Many say it's a choice, but some claim it can be a Genetic factor. I'm not sure which it is, and that also fits in the other questions of why God made atheists, murderers, suiciders, satanists, people with other religions, ect ect. The Bible claims God to have a plan for all of us on earth, but I wonder why God made people that he wouldn't accept in the first place, especially if he is an "all-knowing" God.

Assuming that god is omni-benevolent, I dont think it is possible for him to hate somebeody. I also think that gay people are given the choice to be gay if they want to, even if it is not God's will.

But from God's perspective, he knows whether or not a person will be gay. So essentially he's just creating someone to send them to hell.

From what I know, God makes all people equal. Then after that its our own choice to murder, or be gay. God gave us free will, so people use it.

Ah, ye olde enlightened one.

The free will debate is tired to me. Really, the only reason I post so rarely in this section, especially posting an actual debate, is because all of the topics are worn out. With something like free will there is no conclusive way to know whether it exists or not. The actions you consider to be of free will could just as likely have been predetermined. The concept of having both, a future and free will, is confusing and not able to be rationalized beyond the surface of an idea with our tiny brains. I'm sure its fairly simple for God though. Also, I don't touch political threads -- f..k that.

Because God knows what will happen, it doesn't mean he affects the decision making. Think of it in terms of this: Buffalo played Chicago in football this week, and royally got destroyed 40-7. At the end of the third when the score was 37 - 0, the Bills knew they were going to lose, but the fact of the matter is that they still played the game although they could do nothing to win. The same applies in essence to God. He sees all time at the same time, and because he sees all time, he knows what will happen, and what has happened. However, he does not affect the decisions we make.

Secondly, Homosexuality is in no means genetic, or it has never been proven to be genetic. If someone presents to me data, I would love to see it and examine it carefully. I know it's not genetic because God NEVER punishes a person due to genetic characteristics. If it truly is the way someone is made, they cannot be punished.

Homosexuality is not a natural thing. Just think physically about it and its logical. Women have an adapter for the male parts!!
