No. I believed in God before he/she/it answered me.

I believed in God way before he/she/it started answering my prayers. My prayers simply CONFRIMED God.

I pray for both of those definitions.
1) I pray for guidance.
2) I pray for Certain things to happen (Unmaterial)
---
1) I address God and tell him/her/it to keep doing whatever it is they are doing for me, and I thank God.
2) I say God is the greatest at least 2 times in each of my prayers. meaning that I adore God.
----
I have been praying ever since I was 5, to show God my sincerity in him/her/it.
My first prayer was answered when I was 12, my second answer when I was 15, and a third just recently.
All this did for me is confirm my faith, and gave me NO reason to doubt God.
So, yes, I believed SINCERLY in God, before any of my prayers were ever answered.
