Science tries to find out how things work, it doesn't need religion to be non-lame. It is interesting on its own merits. Religion on the otherhand is interesting, but only as much as the work of overly imaginitive people is interesting. I look at religion like "The Matrix". On its face it seems completely plausible, but the more you get into the logistics of something like that actually happening, the more absurd it gets. "The Matrix" had cool special effects though, religion does not, therefore I say religion is lame, and taking away something lame from science ,which is not lame, doesn't make science lame.

Stop trying to associate yourself with Rebal. Rebal has stated many times that his purpose for believing in God is his personal revelation, which is the one thing that we can't take away from him. Rebal doesn't try to justify his beliefs with screwed up rationale and "evidence" from the Bible. Because I'm pretty certain that Rebal, and EVERYONE ELSE, knows that belief in God is faith alone. No great thinker has, no scientist has ever provided a real rationale/empirical evidence for God's existence, respectively. Either God talked to you or something, or you're just following the herd.
