Believe it or not, Temporal Seizures can often be associated with 'super-natural' encounters. I think it's funny when people's brains malfunction and then they go touting the notion that god spoke to them, or some moronic thing like that. To appreciate the meaning of this post, you might have to do a little reading about what a Temporal Seizure is...

But for a small dose of it, here goes:

I believe there could be a God, but if there is he has most likely moved on to other projects. He probably stuck around here for the first few thousand years of man's existence once the Earth was capable of supporting human life, just to check on us. He handed down some rules and left, but didn't stick around to see that they were really followed through properly and some idioctic religions were formed. Then he came back and left his son and once again didn't stick around to make sure everything went OK, and so more stupid religions were spawned and he hasn't been back since. If he has been back then he obviously doesn't care because as advanced as we are as a civilization we are F**King stupid when it comes to being human beings.

That's just a little taste of my ideas about things, I have more specific details that are being hashed out, but as far as this planet being a "perfect" creation by an omnipotent being.....Well, let's just say I drop my head and shake it from side to side when I hear people say that.

Anyways, you can read through that again if you have questions, because I'm gonna play Halo until "Law and Order" comes on.

No, a feeling and guidance, is different than a temporal Seizure.

I would believe that God moved on, aside form the fact that I get answers fromGod, therefore I believe he is still here...

I like that idea though, sounds like a comical God lol.

Given the way the world is today it's the only plausible explanation of a deity I can come up with without thinking of a more detailed one. But the "He is here and always has been here" argument is completely laughable to me.

Ok. Let me rephrase what actuall talking meant.

When I pray, and get no inner feeling that I am close to God, he is not answering me...
When I pray and get a feeling of closeness with God, he answers my prayer and boom I have truth in front of me.

Not based on a voice, rather a knowledge that a certain feeling or insight came into me and simply gave me an answer that otherwise would not have come out of my own random thought process...

It is no easy matter to explain, Rebel seems to explain this better than I, but for the most part I think i did aight lol.

Religion is laughable to me, whats that suppose to mean>?

Religion is what truly motivates science. Like Einstein said.

"Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."

Everything needs to be here and every notion needs to be considered in order to have new notions built...

I guess I am being a bit confusing, but take the qoute I put in and apply that like this.

"He moved along theory' without 'He is here and always has been here theory is lame, He is here and always has been here theory' without '
He moved along theory is blind."

Im tired lol, so decipher my message at your own risk.

You may be tired but that made absolutely no sense at all. Either he moved along or he's always been here, it can't be both. Einstein is just stating opinions, the fact that they come from Einstein doesn't mean anything to me quite frankly. The more I hear about any religion I've ever heard of, the more silly they get. I've only heard of Jewish, Christian, Catholic, and Muslim faiths in any detail, but they all sound semi-retarded to me the more I hear about them. I have conducted plenty of scientific experiments in my time as a student. The ones that I did for reasons other than a grade had nothing to do with religion at all.

Religion has absolutely no ties to science. The ONLY link between religious thought and science is the debate over the origin of the universe. Other than that, science doesn't set out to explain that which can't be tested.
