Most people here Debate Christianity, well, instead I would like to debate Islam.

To start, lets have someone ask me a question that they think is flawed or unanswered in Islam, and I will respond.

It just so happens that the Koran has all the answers your looking for, and after all, algebra was created by Muslims in Spain for the purpose of proving the Koran correct, astrology and all other claims made by the Koran have been true thus far aswell.

Lemon, very simply the fact you ask the question means as of now you are more open to Islam than Christianity, though I believe you know the main differences between the two religions. Such as Jesus and his validation as son of God and as a saviour who sacraficed himself for our original sin.

Islam just simply had the FINAL book on God and the Torah, Bible, (Gospel as they call it in the Koran), and The Koran itself.
The Koran is just the most complete book (Guidance) on life, as most Muslims would argue.

This is controversial though and I would not validate that.
If you want to ask and Imam if Islam is better than Christainity he will most likely tell you no, that there are differences, and maybe he will go into great detail with you.

On a whole though it says in the Koran that is acceps the children of Isreal as the chosen people and that they went and messed themselves up and need to repent, so God sent down ANOTHER revelation (The Koran) and said; Here follow. or something like that lol.

So I'd Say Islam (Submussion to God, or Peace) is very accepting of other religions. Culture is a different story though.

The Koran (Islam) is the most fair religion to women. If you don't believe me then pick up the Koran and read it (Which I think you have). Since I dont speak arabic the version I am reading is called; (The Koran Interpreted, A Translation by A.J. Arberry)

Go to page 128 (Surahs XXI - CXIV, which is Volume 2) and read line 55-60.

"O Prophet, say to thy wives and daughters and the believing women, that they draw their veils close to them; so it is likelier they will be known, and not hurt. God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate."

Now are you telling me that they (women) are being mistreated because they are to clothe themselves properly in order not to be raped or harrased by others, including horny men?

I mean, is it the dress code you have a problem with according to the Koran, or is it the CULTURE you have a problem with, because I too have a serious problem with the culture of Males with super large Ego's and self-idolizing themselves.

The way women are mistreated in the Koran is non-existent, women are treated extremely fair according to the Koran. Like I said, culture has a big impact on society.

Why do you think the Muslim women in America are treated better than in say Iraq, because America is way better than the backwards 3rd world countries.

IMO, American Muslims follow Islam WAY better than Middle-Eastern Muslims.
