Most males what to put all the responsibility unto the women. Meaning that they dont want to learn self-control, they want the women to cover up so they dont have to learn self-control. There is nothing to see with a covered women now is there?

i think women should be allowed to choose whether they cover up or not, which obviously some do, but i don't think covering up will make you any less vulnerable to rape or harassment, rapists don't always choose based on looks. i've never covered up every inch of my body and neither has any girl i know and i've never been raped or harassed and neither have any of my friends.

i don't understand why you keep bringing up 'culture'. iran and afghanistan are islamic republics so surely they should be an accurate representation of islam right, regardless of culture?
