No, some atheists are like that. Just like some people who believe in God will try the same approach to atheists. You just need to respect other people's beliefs, and don't insult them for their faith or lack of faith.

I've never met an atheist that can disprove any god. That is an impossible task. The atheists I know, myself included, attack the arguments made by people of the various religions, rather than trying to disprove existance of the god itself.

Well, there's a lot more to it than "a collision of two planets." If you were ever to take the time to look into the thinking behind the theories of evolution and non-creationistic theories, like the primordial soup model, you will see that it is not at all implausible, and rather, that the idea of some guy floating around in the sky controlling everything is a LOT less plausible than the primordial soup model.

Wow, I remember why I had him on the ignore list. I took him off to read about vegetarians, but I wish he'd start citing sources. I wonder if he knows that what he's doing is a crime and a horrible way to try and prove that he posseses intellect.

And I don't believe because to me, it seems silly that there is this single all mighty being who knows all, created the amazingly complex world in a mere 7 days, and only gives you 1 shot life to eithre believe or not believe, to go to heaven or suffer eternal tourment. That's just wrong.

I disprove God because there is no proof saying that he/she/it is real. If you can provide proof (Which I doubt) that God is real, then I'll believe. If you can't provide proof, then I can't believe.

Wow...all this talk about God gets me wondering. Just think about this...humans created lies...with that being said, take this question into consideration...

Your question is too generalized. Believing is god can't really be the truth or a lie. I don't believe in God because I don't have proof. I don't really think it is all lies though. If you want me to believe something, I need proof or something along the lines of that. The truth can hurt sometimes, so it's easier to believe a lie.

See, the question isn't generalized at all, it's just how you interpret it...Humans create lies, right? I'm not at all saying this is true, but...what if HUMANS created a big lie...the theory of evolution, for example, and tried to get everyone to buy it, as a method to stop all the religious wars...
