I honestly do not thing that I could watch something like that, I can handle things from needles to dead people torn apart but with something abstract such as tampering with a childs mind....I couldn't take it.

What if your parents had signed you up? My parents are Christian and they've made attempts to get me back into it but I haven't, if they signed me up for a camp like this what could I even do to get out of it?

Lol...to be honest...that point is so moot, it really isn't even worth bringing up.

But incase you really need an answer...if you want to leave camp...all you have to do is something stupid. Like get in a fight...or smoke some weed...or pull one too many pranks...or get hurt...or anything that would cause one of the adults to think that you're a "danger" to the other campers.
It's not like they force you to stay there...and they tell you from the beginning that it's a "privilige" not a "right".

It's more of an opportunity than anything else.
It's not like bootcamp.

Besides...any non-christian that I've seen go to those camps has a blast. Their only complaint is that during the "day session" or the "night session" they get bored and don't wanna listen to some guy preach.

Yet...right after the dude/lady gets done talking...they're all smiles during the soccer/baseball/basketball games or during the waterballoon/watergun fights.

You'd be kinda stupid to want to leave, anyway. But hey...it's your choice.

To each his own.
^I think that's a proper placement of a cliche!

Meh... That video gave me a headache. It seemed too much like brainwashing. I think it'd be much better if they had shown people with more experiance at life. You can get someone at that age to believe almost anything. I've convinced several of them that I was invisible to make an escape a few times.

I've been to a Christian summer camp, and apart from the large amount of injuries I got, it was pretty cool, and there weren't really any overly pressed attempts to convert me. Nothing like a crowd of people chanting "Join us" To scare people away

edit:
The part where they said that they were basically taking over the country was about the point where it became unbearable... Personally, I don't think Bush has done the greatest job

If your parents sign you up and you don't want to go, just tell them that. If they won't let you out of it, just take it as a time to hang out with some people and maybe meet some girls.

You can't just say, "Hey, I want to leave"???

Like I said before, these types of camps are incredibly devastating to children. Like the Jesuet said, "give me the boy for his first seven years, and I will give you a man". If you don't know what I meant by that, you ought to do some reading...
