As far as I'm concerned, no one has truly answered my question yet. How can you prove that anything in this world exists? If you were to look at a chair, you aren't actually looking at a chair, but the perception of what a chair is. Actually, we know that the chair should not even classify as a chair because most of the chair isn't solid molecules to begin with.

Therefore, I mean really, has anyone actually SEEN a chair, or is it just the perception of the chair that is in your mind that stands as concrete knowledge. You percieve something, therefore it must exist.

Under the idea of Christianity, everything exists because God percieves them all at the same time.

Actually, my professor in philosophy told us that we are all figments of his imagination. Under that assumption, we all decided that in order to remain alive, we have to make sure he is as healthy as can be

Whether or not God exists is irrelevant. The question should be as follows: Does he (if he exists) have any perceivable influence or does he perceivably affect your life in any way? If you can parsimoniously attribute everything in your life to something other than God, then he is effectively non-existent. If, however, you truly believe that he is doing something for you, then he is there. Obviously he either is there or isn't and whether or not you believe he is is irrelevent to that fact. However, if the possibility or thought of him being there is causing you to do anything whatsoever differently than if you truly believe he didn't exist, then you do, in fact, believe in him no matter what you say. If I pick an action or trait of yours at random and you can describe the reasoning behind it without any reference to God and that holds for all of you actions, then God is non-existent for you.
