No, I don't agree. Physically you are dead, but you still have a soul and you can never truly die out. If you just died and was just not there anymore, just out of existence, wtf? I don't think I'd ever believe that.

Ya this is his third year of college level physics in high school. I used to go to school with him but I ended up dropping out because of the physics. I could handle the calculus, but calculus AND physics was too much for me.

We both took AP Calc 1 in 10th grade. He continued being a scientific and mathematical genius, I decided to take my IQ and use it for other things. I'm a better writer than Froggy.

Well, there are large piles of intelligent theories supporting both biological death and religious OR spiritual death, so it's really tough to weed out the truth (especially since only the dead experience the truth). I'd rather NOT agree to being dead, and that meaning the end of all time, forever.

Think about it. That means there's no other hope for a second life (after death), ever. That this life is it. A little downcast, if you ask me. Really roll it around, chew on it. Sure, you can say, "Well, if we're dead, we won't know it." But, the fact remains that you know it right now. And I would really hate life knowing that there really is no other ANYTHING out there. How far does life go?

I can't take my 3rd year of physics It's a cruel irony of MSE vs IB... MSE-IB kids who want out of physics are forced to stay in, and MSE kids who love that type of thing can't take it. I'm still sitting in on classes when AP Environmental allows, and I'm getting some of their assignments so I don't fall out of practice. I miss that class...

And yes, you probably pwn me in writing, and many of the other things around there.

Another thing with reincarnation would be time. Without consciousness, time is entirely irrelevant, so if there happened to be nothing consciouss, no one would know it. The universe could go on untill life appeared again and the cycle could continue... Or could it? *insert IB TOK-style essay here with standard bs to make it look better on perception and it's relationship to reality*
But yeah, with reincarnation, life on other planets seems a necesity, or there's the Transcendentalist Oversoul...

Well I wouldn't mind if either one of the theorys were correct. I'll take the life I was giving by my Mother and Father and I'll make the best of it in my own way. And if I lived happily well that's whats important. Well to me atleast, and if you are going to be scared of death and what happens afterlife then you'll really never live life to the fullest.
