I try to be good and make intelligent posts but over the past few months that has gotten me no where. That points out a problem I see with people in general. The need for immediate tangible rewards (or nonimediate nontangible/tangible eternal rewards). I don't think that someone's moment to moment actions should be based on rewards. It should be done because it's the right* thing. You shouldn't stop doing what's right* just because it isn't getting you everything you want. You should stick with it, and change your behaviors as you see fit.


*Right can be a very subjective term. In this instant it refers to actions that promote the well being of a society that strives for education, knowledge, wisdom, etc. Hey, I can have my friendly little lies, right? Curse you human nature!!!1!

How are you acting Christ like in your actions by saying things like this. You are the very antithesis of what you say you are. If you think cussing people out on the internet, posting pictures of people with the intentions of making them subject to ridicule, and calling people skinny little f.gs that sit behind their computer monitor is a christian attitude, then you're fighting the wrong fight.

You give a bad name to the thing you wish to represent, and you're probably the worst witness for Christ that I have ever seen. If I was borderline, watching a supposed "Christian" make posts like this would push me in the totally opposite direction.

There was a while, right after you were (deservedly) banned, that you came back more mature, a completely changed person.

For a while, I held some respect for you, when you were respectable. I try not to hold anything against anyone once things are resolved, but I can't put you on the same plane as other people.

So you're saying that it's alright in God's eyes for a person who follows him to cuss and vent like he did in that thread, attack another one of his children in a post meant to demean him, and continue to act this way without apology is alright?

This is no differant than calling out a vegetarian for eating meat. It isn't about comparing him to another in God's eyes, it's about comparing himself to the actions that he takes. He professes strongly that he believes one way, in the way of God, and totally disrespects those very words by dragging God's name and cause into his diatribe.

God may not think it is alright for him to be doing so, but according to Christians, God knows every action you're going to take in life. It's not like he's going to hold any grudges if ReV repents.
