I didn't change the title, I never believed I had to, but I'm glad that you can see it. It seems that most peple on these forums are not able to question their faith and seem all too quick to fall back on replies such as "you're a moron."(yeah, I'm looking at you Coke) Perhaps, this immature response boosts there ego and pushes all the bad truths of the world into the back of their head, freeing them from the burden of actually confronting them.

And thank you Carroll 7, I too was raised christian, but as of now I don't know what I am, and prefer not to subscribe myself to a general term.

I can relate to that as well. I'm not going to go as much into as one of my older posts about my faith, but I was basically in the same shoes as you.

The more I think about it, the less logical the idea of a God sounds.

Then, by definition, you are NOT a Christian. Christians, again, by defintion, believe that the Old and New Testament is the word of god; and to not literally believe the Old and New Testaments is an act of defiance. The Old Testament is believed to be the literal word of god, and to not believe just one word is to call god a liar. The New Testament is believed to be an eye-witness account, and to not believe even just one line is to call Jesus and his deciples liars. Your either a Christian, or your not - it's really not that hard to figure out.

Don't talk about religion if you dont know what you're talking about.

this thread is pointless. you should've known that this would have started a fight and that is your opinion not everyone elses (sorry but not all people are like you and not all christians get pissed off when other people are polytheistic and all that, I am christian and I believe what I believe and let others believe what they believe) this thread should be closed because all it is doing is starting fights.

I don't quite know what to say. You're being pretty apprehensive with the whole "Christians on the forum" thing. Yes, generally speaking, most of the Christians here aren't ones to question faith, or anything at all really.

However, there is a select group (myself included), who in fact do question what they believe, and know how to look at things from different perspectives.

I am not blind.

Please try not to give a response saying you aren't generalizing, or anything like that. From your point of view, you may not be, but to Christians that read this thread, you definitely are. To an intelligent Christian who knows the backround of what he or she believes in, this thread is pretty ridiculous. I don't know if you wrote those original 10 items or not, but they do not automatically apply to Christians.
