1. The roman catholic church recognizes that not everything in the OT is to be taken lierally. I cannot specify which parts nor am I implying that any parts of the OT mentioned in this thread are to be disregarded.
2.Your quote from the bible can be interpreted many ways. For example, the old laws can be the 10 commandments, which I already said is not part of the OT which should not be taken literally. You seem to not be accepting the fact that language, especially when translated, can be interpreted many ways.
3. I have yet to proclaim my religion so don't say i have or haven't striken down any laws. And no I don't think I'm smarter then a god, once again you are proving that you lack even the slightest understanding of what the Christian/Jewish/Muslim God is. For future, notice please refrain from saying ignorant phrases such as "do you think you are smarter than god." I grow tired of pointing out the same mistake over and over and over again.

Then what was the point of you posting this. Your title states Lol for christians which automatically implies this is ment for christians. Then the list contains 10 of the most one sided, wity, ill worded statements i have ever heard.(Number 9 just makes me laugh, If you were so smart you would understand the symbolism and metaphors the bible contains and that this just may be one of them) Im sorry to say this but if you are going to make a post like this you better expect to recieve brunt of the fallout. Umm did you even read the thread. I said yes the title implies that I'm addressing all Christians, b/c the post I made is in regards to Christianity. However, since the post is not my words I can not say that if it applies to all Christians or not, that is up to the readers interpretation not mine.

With the exception of 1 and 3, it applies to about 98% of all Christians. I believe the author made it generalized for that purpose.

you are either stupid or just, no just stupid. You have probably meet one Christian or something and just assumed all Christians are like that. Let me give you an analogy. Say i see on the news that a African-American robbed a bank. So then i just decide that all African-Americans steal. That is what you just did. And you people that call yourselfs atheists(sp?) need to investigate more into the Bible. There is tons of proof that events in the new testament and in the old testament are true. You just want to be different and have no faith. Why don't you just turn Goth. Then you can be even more different.
