| | my points in a nutshell: 1) No religion HAS to be true, so when you say 'if there are 3 possibilities and only one can be true, that means disproving two proves the third' it is a completely moot point, because we're talking about religion, it doesn't HAVE to be true. 2) you said in your first post that you're going to PROVE that agnosticism is the best way to go. My original point was that you can't prove it, no matter what you do because you can't personally disprove any other religion 3) yes I'm a girl and I'm strongly agnostic, but I just don't think you can prove to anyone that agnosticism is the right way to go

| | Sorry for the late reply, The Colostomizer and TeH 3quivocat0r, I've been very busy this past week. Ok, firstly, it's "she" not "he" like you kept referring to me as (...when I joined the forum I was wondering why the choice of gender wasn't there...) TeH 3quivocat0r, what I meant by "way of life" is basically that we have a way in which to do even the detailed aspects, like eating and drinking, a way to do everything. We base that on the compilation of "hadith" and "sunnah" (sayings and traditions of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him)...which no religion besides Islam has. Anyway, please visit this link http://www.islamonline.net/servlet/S...AskAboutIslamE I hope it's not too long for you to read (or at least skim through). It should answer your question about the consistency of the Qur'aan. Also, The Colostomizer, I wouldn't say "my faith is enough to believe the Qur'aan wasn't corrupted" in other words "My faith is enough to give me faith"...that's basically circular logic. It makes no sense.

I'll answer any questions you have, and debate with you if you feel that I'm wrong. In fact, I challenge you to prove me wrong...unless you weren't originally planning on doing that, in which case I withdraw the challenge. Cats are merciless killing machines. You may think that's a metaphor, but it's most definitely literal. The only reason cats put up with us is that we provide them with a steady supply of food... Agnosticism is right because it looks at everything. It's lack of solid stances makes it hard to be wrong. It's the closest "religion" to science. Of course, in the event that there is a god that despises agnostics and free thinking, we're all screwed, but I'd still stick to the right to choose.
