Bah humbug.

It covers how there can be so much more beauty in the world, if we know what to look for.

Also touches base on how one can be spiritual in the mathematical world of science and the nature of the universe, another misconception that one has to be bland without the fairy tales of religion.

How can you be spiritual if you don't believe in spirit? I can understand if science invokes emotion but spirituality implies a separateness from the physical world.

I see it as a loosely defined word, eh. I suppose.

I was just trying to convey that one can both amaze and calm the mind with such matters as science. That an understand of science and the universe is hardly boring.

In that case, I know what you mean. The beauty of science is in no way inappreciable.

I love to read on Electrons and Protons. Best subject to me, next to Voltaire and Plato's Crito.

Science in its rawest form can me a thousand times more amazing and eye-popping than a virgin birth. So some guy spewed goo over a girl without going in her. Big fricking deal. Just wait till you see someone split a foundation(atom) of you and you see what is inside what is you. Now that's cool.

<3, Tigga.

I'm not taking sides, but I believe the original context was in favor of a faith or belief. Good point, though I can't see how holding on to "nothing" is that unfathomable. But then again, the beauty of stained glass...

My point of reference was it's really hard for a theist to understand an atheist's vantage point, and only once on the inside [of atheism] can one really appreciate what it means to not be a theist. I think it's probably very true for both sides, though.
