How can you be spiritual if you don't believe in spirit? I can understand if science invokes emotion but spirituality implies a separateness from the physical world.

Science in its rawest form can me a thousand times more amazing and eye-popping than a virgin birth. So some guy spewed goo over a girl without going in her. Big fricking deal. Just wait till you see someone split a foundation(atom) of you and you see what is inside what is you. Now that's cool.

My point of reference was it's really hard for a theist to understand an atheist's vantage point, and only once on the inside [of atheism] can one really appreciate what it means to not be a theist. I think it's probably very true for both sides, though.
