I said whatever reasons because they cannot be explained in words, basically. I know that is essentially a cop out, but it's not something I can explain. People who say they can are usually the ones who simply repeat something another person has told them.
I don't believe simply because of what others have to say about it. I believe because it's what I feel is most correct. My scriptual readings compel me, not other people.
I understand why other people don't follow religion, but the only reason I can explain my faith is through my feelings. (Yes, I know, it's popular to say these feelings can be explained in other ways). I'm usually one to think instead of acting out how I feel, but it's never gotten me that far. Every good thing that's happened to me has come from action through my feelings instead of my mind. I don't even know how this relates, it's just something I've been dealing with lately -- not thinking, just doing if I feel it's right. Because I've actually thought a lot about my faith, this doesn't actually relate that well, sorry about that Lol.
Anyway, to get back on track, I actually believe what the Bible has to say, so I interpret its meanings and how I can relate them to my feelings, and that is where my faith comes from.
