Thank you. Most people, even people who think they know what evolution is thinks that we deprived from the monkeys we see at the zoo. What idiots. We are related to monkeys, in a sense, we have branched off the same common ancestor as them, and so on and so forth.

Humans have indeed evolved in their own species. If that is what you meant than I agree with you, but if you meant that monkeys are our ancestors, then I don't believe you.

I'm an atheist because I went to a Catholic after-school programme near the local church for about 7 years; from when I was around 6 to about when I was 13. Nothing will turn you into an atheist faster than reading the damn Bible.

I'm also an anti-theist, which I think is best defined by this quote from Mikhail Bakunin: "A jealous lover of human liberty, deeming it the absolute condition of all that we admire and respect in humanity, I reverse the phrase of Voltaire, and say that, if God really existed, it would be necessary to abolish him".

Another way to express this idea would be: "A boss in Heaven is the best excuse for a boss on Earth, therefore If God did exist, he would have to be abolished".

I'm pretty tolerant of other religions, but I wouldn't tolerate them having any role in government or interfering in others' lives.

You don't understand, nor do you have the facts about evolution. You're complete lack of knowledge on the subject you are trying to tackle bleeds through with every irrational point you try to make. Evolution is not really something to be debated anymore, its been tested throughly, and more information will continue to be uncovered on the subject. I guess it doesn't surprise me that overly-religious people, like yourself, would still insist on debating this subject. It's like an old chapter in math, you're done with it, move on, staying on that chapter is only going to hurt your grade and you are not going to learn anything new. For the love of whatever god, please, please, stop talking.

I don't think that is the evolutionary theory, its is much more complex. But in it, humans evolved over thousands and thousands of years, from primates. That is what I have been taught.

Can you debunk the evidence that humans evolved from lesser species? Vast amouts of evidence exists that indicates that's exactly what happened. You're either too stupid, or too ignorant to accept said evidence.

Show me these vast amounts of evidence, then. All they have shown is that man was similar to primates, but did not actually evolve from their species.
