Some Christians are just much too intense. I heard about this issue as well, but I don't know if I'm necessarily against the series. I guess I'm not really crazy about the idea of the final book being about killing God, but I'm not going to have a f.cking temper tantrum like the rest of the Christian community. If Christians keep on acting like immature 8 year old kids who get pissed every time they don't get their way or run into a different world view, then how is that going to portray us?

Oh good point, I never thought of it that way but I never got into Islamic theology so I just based it on my own assumptions which i thought were correct.

Theres talking animals, flying witches, and a magical compass, however I can see how if you believe in burning bushes that talk, that you could believe this movie as well. Your right, polars talk and wear armor, and they also have a great kingdom in the north pole, where they wage wars against the evil penguins. Do you really think this is propoganda? Given the biased way it is explained by almost every christian website, I could actually view it as propoganda, but when you disect the movie for what it really is and actually take a look at the story, any retard can tell that no one is actually going to convert to atheism from this movie.

I already knew it was aimed towards youth. The point I made was that, no matter what book you are talking about, I'm sure the subliminal message in it was HATE JEWS, or something to that affect. That is of course an assumption, correct me if Im wrong. The point I was trying to make was, the only way this could be made to be propoganda for children is if every child on the earth had little gods in glass bottles, and could open the glass bottles, therefore unintentionally killing god. I can see how a biased view of the book could make it out to be propoganda, but it really is not.
