This movie actually has good actors and storyline. Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig (a rising popular actor, though I've loved him for years), supposing they don't die, can make this movie.

I wonder if they are actually worried about people who watch this movie actually find a way to kill god. I wonder if this movie has actually figured out how to kill god
Until this post, I thought the movie looked really stupid (even though I knew nothing about it). As of right now, my mission is to watch this movie.

I'm sure they don't kill god in this film, it's the first part in a trilogy. In the last book, they kill god.

Looks like I'll have to take a trip to the book store.

My God (lol) The Amber Spyglass is soooooo good. Basically yes, Lyra and Will kill God, but it has no malicious intent behind it.

*Spoiler Alert Kind Of* It was an accident that involved absolutely NO violence. He just kind of dissolved when he was exposed to the air. Lyra and Will actually save him before the accidental homocide. This story has really nothing to do with Christianity, so I'm not sure what all of the fuss is about. It's fiction. At least read it before you condemn it.

I never really understand when protests/rants like this happen from different communities, since they usually end up just making the movie more popular. People who weren't going to see it will now do so just to piss other people off.

LOL! This is true indeed. I, for one, would never had gotten the urge to read the books or see the movie.

I am seeing the movie, I intend to read the books. I heard a "warning" about it on a super conservative radio station, it was hilarious to hear them whine about it.
